The vase is highly complex in terms of both craftsmanship and technique—much like the seven deadly sins themselves. Its foundation consists of uranium glass, underlaid with seven distinct colors, each symbolizing a specific trait. The seven deadly sins are further evoked by seven applied elements—malignant, unsightly growths rendered as cut and polished stones—which offer a glimpse into the very heart of the sin. The narrative concludes with an interior surface treated with a glue-chipping technique, while the upper, cut-glass section of the vase embodies whimsy, an abundance of beauty, and vanity. After all, one can never have too much beauty. The vase is a vast story of a single human existence.
